FANTASY CUP

Entry into the Fantasy Cup is optional, and is open to teams also entered for the Fantasy League. It is not possible to enter the Cup without entering the League.

The entry fee for the Fantasy Cup is £3.00 per team, payable at the same time as the League entry fee.

Prize Money

The winner of the Fantasy Cup will receive 30% of the Cup entry fees. The runner-up will receive 20% of the Cup entry fees. The prizes will be rounded up to the next pound.

How It Works

A certain number of Saturdays throughout the season will be designated “Fantasy Cup Days”. On these days, each team entered in the Cup will ‘play’ against another team. The points gained by those teams’ players on the day (usual Fantasy points scoring rules apply) will determine which team goes through to the next round. The draw for the first round (and a preliminary round if necessary) will be made when all the entries are in. Thereafter, the draw for each round will be made after the completion of the previous round.

If a Fantasy Cup match is ‘drawn’, i.e. if the two opposing teams score equal points on the day, the match will be replayed the following weekend.

The dates of the Fantasy Cup Days will be confirmed when all entries are in.

N.B. The Fantasy League will continue to operate as normal on Fantasy Cup Days. The Cup has no bearing on League points/standings.
